Scripture Saturday - Love

I LOVE to sketch! Buildings, flowers, words... you name it!

For today's Scripture Saturday we will sketch the word "LOVE" which is used all throughout Scripture. 

I based this craft on 1 Corinthians 16:14, "Do everything in love."

First, you will need:

 2 pieces of copy paper

4 4x6 picture frames

scissors

a marker

Take the photo out of picture frame, but DO NOT throw it away...

you will need it in the next step.

Using the original photo, trace the outside edge onto the copy paper.

You will need to do this 4 times. 

Next, cut the 4 piece out...

like so.

Now, begin sketching the word "LOVE" using a one letter for each piece of paper. 

*Tip - don't worry about getting every line perfect, just make 3-5 lines in the same direction that you need, and allow it to just flow (if that makes sense).

As you can see, there's a bit of a mess-up in the "E", 

if that happens, you can redo it or keep it. 

I personally feel like it gives it character! So I'm going to keep it! :) 

Insert the letters into the photo frames...

like so.

Now, you can display them in a variety of ways. 

So, whatever you fancy...
