Sunday School Sunday - The Terrible Lie
It's time for another Sunday School lesson!
So, get out your Jesus Storybook Bible...
and turn to "The terrible lie"!
Today, we are going to make SNAKES to go along with our story.
And.. they'll be interactive!
First, you'll need a blank piece of copy paper.
Draw a sideways "C". This will be the snake's head.
Next, on one side of the snake's head, begin drawing a spiral to make the snake's body.
Finish by attaching the line to the snake (ending up with a basically a circle).
You can make this design and then copy it on the copy machine, or make each by hand.
Now, have the kids color the snake however they'd like to using whatever materials available.
When they are done, cut along the line drawn to make the snake.
You should end up with something like this.
Now, you can either leave it like that, or continue.
Write either the title of the lesson or something like "Obey God" on the side of the snake.
Using the excess paper, draw a snake tongue (basically a "Y").
Then cut the tongue out (carefully).
Using a piece of tape...
tape the tongue to the snake's head.
Your final project should end up looking something like this!
Enjoy!
