Essentially Tuesday - 6 Easy Ways I Use Lavender EO

6 Easy Ways I Use Lavender Essential Oil:

My "Healing" Oil

The Lavender essential oil is known as the "Swiss army knife of oils".  It can be used for all kinds of things! This is a great one to carry along with you when you go... anywhere! It's also probably one of the most used oils there is!

Here are 6 ways I use Lavender:

Topically-

BATH: Drop 2-5 drops of lavender into your warm bath and relax! I'm not sure I can remember the last time I took a bath without putting some drops of lavender into it. It's so nice and relaxing! Also, you can add some epsom salt to help soothe those weary muscles from a long day! (Writing this makes me want to go jump in the bath right now!)

BED: One of the oils I use when I get in bed is lavender. I put some under my nose, on my chest, and sometimes some on my feet. This seems to help me fall asleep faster. Try it for yourself!

CUTS/BURNS: Next time you have a cut or burn, immediately put some lavender onto it. It surprisingly doesn't burn like most things you might put on a cut/burn to help the pain. It immediately starts soothing the effected area, and also heals that area faster.

My mother burned herself on the stove once, and we immediately put lavender onto the effected area and we couldn't believe how quickly the effected area healed!

Internally-

TEA: Add a drop of lavender to your favorite tea or late (in my case, a London Fog) and enjoy a twist on your favorite hot beverage! P.S. - If you haven't tried a London Fog, you've got to try it next time you go to your favorite coffee shop!

VEGGIE CAPSULE: Add a drop or two of lavender into a Young Living veggie capsule for support on your overall health. I often make sure to put a few drops of lavender into my veggie capsule in the morning if I'm feeling a little under the weather. Lavender is my "healing" oil for a reason!

Aromatically-

GUEST BATHROOM/ENTRYWAY: Diffuse a couple of drops of lavender in your guest bathroom or entryway for people to enjoy when they're over for a visit! It can help them to unwind and relax, making your house feel like home!

You can enjoy Lavender in so many ways!

* Be careful not to use a large amount of lavender while driving! Lavender can cause you to get sleepy and we want you safe on the road!
