Scripture Saturday - Galatians 2:20
Galatians 2:20 has been my "life verse" ever since I read A Call to Die by David Nasser.
This is the verse I now try to live every day by, and the verse that
speaks volumes in my heart.
This is a simple, yet effective, art piece to go along with Gal. 2:20.
Enjoy!
First, we'll need a blank sheet of paper.
Next, towards the bottom right, write "Galatians 2:20".
Next, draw an oval, but skip over Galatians 2:20.
We want a little gap between the line and the verse.
Next, using whatever colors you'd like, begin drawing lines and "X"s all over the oval.
We're hoping to make it look like a crown of thorns.
Next, write the verse inside of the crown.
"I have died, but Christ lives in me, and I now live by faith in the Son of God
who loves me and gave his life for me."
If you'd like, you can add some clouds or some type of background to really finish it off.
Cheers!
