Fearless Friday - Set a Screen-time Limit
Every once and awhile, when I've been on my computer a lot, or have binged watched some new show on Netflix, I realize I need to set a screen-time limit for myself.
You hear of parents setting screen-time limits for their kids, but yet us adults don't set any limits for ourselves. Does watching a screen for hours on end not effect us?
I believe it does effect us. I notice that when I've been watching a screen for too long, my brain goes foggy and I honestly get sad. My husband can even tell it's effects on me. It makes me feel tired on foggy-brained, and I really don't like that feeling if I can help it.
I often will set a 3-hour screen-time limit when I realize I'm watching too much TV or am on my computer or phone too much.
Screen-time counts your phone screen, computer screen, TV screen, and any other type of electrical screen you might encounter.
This can be hard to do at first, and hard to do for a long period of time, but once you see the effects that it can have on you, I think you'll agree with me that it's worth it!
I hope you'll set a screen-time for yourself soon, get through the "FOMO", and join me in limiting yourself in order to fearlessly embrace a healthier life.
Cheers!
