Thrifty Thursday - Eat At Home

I don't cook. Thankfully I have a husband that does! But, with the diet I have now grown to love, I honestly would rather cook my meals at home than go eat out!

Eating at home can save you TONS of money! (And I don't mean ordering Chinese delivery.)

Finding things in the grocery store can allow you to make several meals for the price of ONE restaurant item.

So why don't we do it?

Most likely, because it's hard.

Learning to cook can be frightening, but with these simple tips, you can make tons of delicious meals, and all while saving you money.

. . .

Tip #1:
Slice up whatever vegetable you'd like (I use squash, zucchini, and eggplant), throw some olive oil on it, put a dash of salt on top, and throw it into the oven at around 350 degrees.

BOOM! Deliciousness.

Tip #2:
Boil water. Put whatever your favorite noodle is into the pot. Stir occasionally. Test noodles until you like their texture. Strain. Put back in pot.

Done!

Tip #3:
Find a good sauce. Put in (different) pot. Warm.

WOW!

. . .

Complete these 3 tips, and you have yourself a delicious (and hopefully healthy) meal!

I don't cook, but I can cook this!

Try it for yourself, and I bet you'll surprise yourself!

Cheers!
