Fearless Friday - Love Others

Have you ever felt an urge to go talk to a stranger, or to do a kind act for another human being that some people might think was weird?

I have.

Many times.

This actually happens a lot to me. I often find myself in situations where I have other people looking at me with scrunched up faced thinking, "What are you doing?"

This happens a lot with the homeless.

. . .

We are called to love others.

"Don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong.
Hold tightly to what is good." - Romans 12:9 NLT

Loving others can look odd sometimes, but I challenge you to love others in Jesus' name in whatever way God puts on your heart!

It can be simply putting your hand on someone's shoulder while talking to them. Giving someone a hug. Going up to a stranger and asking how you can pray for them (and even praying right there with them). Love others looks different ALL the time.

If you ever get an inkling to do something as an act of love that is kind of odd, but you feel like there's something tell you to do it anyway... do it!

Most likely it's God trying to love that other individual through you.

Allow it to happen, and do it fearlessly.

. . .

Cheers!
