Sunday School Sunday - The teenie, weenie... true king

Today's Sunday School Sunday activity is based off of "The teeny, weenie... true king"
story from the Jess Storybook Bible.

First, we'll need a blank sheet of paper.

Next, draw some sort of crown shape.
(This will be the front side of the crown.)

Now, add some decorations to the crown.

To make the back side, fold the paper in half (without smooshing it).

Now, find the beginning of the line you first drew with the page folded, and make a dash.

Do the same on the other side.

Now, connect the dashes.

Add some decorations to the back side of the crown.

Color the crown.

Now, cut it out.

The backside should match perfectly with the front.

Tape the front and back together.

And make sure to secure some tape on the opposite side.

Ta Da!

You now have a crown (like one that David might wear later when he becomes king)!

This is such a fun activity to do with kids. All you have to do is draw the crown part, and they will have a blast coloring it in and also wearing the crown around!

Cheers!
