Thrifty Thursday - Air Dry!

You can save money by air drying your dishes, clothes, and even your hair!

. . .

Dishes -
Your dishwasher can require a lot of electricity, so washing your dishes by hand and then air drying them can save you $ on you electricity bill!

We have a drying rack that we keep in the sink at our house. For some reason, this encourages us to wash and dry the dishes sooner rather than later, too!

It's one way of keeping less clutter in the sink, and saving money in the process!

Clothes -
Back in the day, they didn't have dryers, and they survived. I bet you could too, if you tried! Try either hanging your clothes out to dry on a clothes line, or even hand them over some chairs in your house!

Sometimes your clothes can get a certain smell from the "good ole' fresh air", so I tend to try to keep them indoors.

I've also hung them up to dry in my shower, especially when I've washed the clothes by hand and their super wet! Just keep the shower door open, and you'll have dry clothes in no time!

Hair-
Now, I know some ladies just can't air dry their hair.  For me, I've learned that if I air-dry my hair, I'll need to wear it in some type of ponytail that day, but then the next day, it won't be as "poofy", and I can style it or even just wear it down.

Some people use some type of mouse if they don't blow dry their hair, I like to be "el natural".

Honestly, you just have to play around with it until you find out what works, but not using a hair dryer will save you money on your electricity bill as well!

. . .

In all, save money by living simply.

Cheers!
