Worshipful Ways Wednesdays - Worship God Through: Being a Good Steward

It wasn't until I met my husband that I truly learned what it meant to be a "good steward". 

I had always heard of a good steward being someone who took care of their money well. They tithed to the church and had a savings account. They used their money wisely, and that pleased God.

When I married my husband, I realized that there are other ways we can be a good steward that can please God. 

We can take care of the things that God has blessed us with. (This has been a tough one for me to learn.) We can make sure our cars have all that they need to work properly, or update our computers when they need to. 

We can also be a good steward of the earth by learning how we can recycle in our community, and even diving into composting!

Being a good steward pleases the Lord because it shows Him that we're grateful for what He's given us, and that we will take care of the blessings He bestows on us.

It takes lots of responsibility, but it's such a fantastic way to worship God!
