Worshipful Ways Wednesdays - Worship God Through: Hard Times
Worshiping God through hard times can be... well... hard to do.
When we're going through a hard time, it's so easy to blame God for it, and to try to move on with that mindset.
It doesn't work that way though.
God truly loves us, cares for us, and wants what's best for us. We're His children!
. . .
"If a son asks for [a]bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to givegood gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
- Luke 11:11-13
. . .
God's love for us is unimaginable. He gives to us freely and loves us unconditionally. We can't even fathom the mercy and grace that He pours onto us every single day.
When we go through hard times, it can sometimes be an excuse to get even closer to the Lord.
When times are hard, draw near to God.
Accept His love. Accept His grace. Accept His forgiveness. And grow closer towards Him, not further away.
God is the only person who can bring the healing you need in the hard times you face.
